Change of Services Provider

As communicated to you in December 2022, the Board of Trustees announced that the UNITE HERE Pension Plan’s administrative services provider has switched from SoBen Management Ltd. (“SoBen”) to the Ellement Consulting Group (“Ellement”), effective January 1, 2023.

What has happened since?

Your pension fund records remained with SoBen until December 31, 2022, and were transferred to Ellement at the beginning of 2023.

What will be happening?

• A new dedicated website for the UNITE HERE Pension Plan is being created and scheduled to be available in the fall of 2023. You will be provided with details on how to access the new website once it has been launched.
• The new website will provide several self-serve options that will allow you to view your pension account balance and make certain changes to your personal information.

What do I need to do?

You should review your annual pension statement and contact Ellement to update any incorrect information, such as your address, date of birth, or beneficiary.
