The Board of Trustees is responsible for determining the investment direction of the Plan assets with the assistance of their professional consultants. The Board regularly review the investments and all investments are made in accordance with the regulations administered by FSRA (Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario) and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). As part of the Plan’s governance, the Board of Trustees established a Statement of Investment Policy and Procedures (SIPP) which provides for the policies and procedures for the Plan’s investment portfolio. Information on environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and how these factors are incorporated into the Plan’s investment policies and procedures are defined in the SIPP.
