Investments

Management

The Board of Trustees is responsible for determining the investment direction of the Plan assets with the assistance of their professional consultants. The Board regularly review the investments and all investments are made in accordance with the regulations administered by FSRA (Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario) and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). As part of the Plan’s governance, the Board of Trustees established a Statement of Investment Policy and Procedures (SIPP) which provides for the policies and procedures for the Plan’s investment portfolio. Information on environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and how these factors are incorporated into the Plan’s investment policies and procedures are defined in the SIPP. Plan member may inspect the current SIPP without charge during regular business hours at:

  • The office of Ellement Consulting Group; or
  • The office of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario
  • Alternatively, a Plan member may provide a written request to either office for a copy of the current SIPP (either by mail or electronically). A fee may apply when requesting a copy of the SIPP.
