Plan governance. Who oversees my pension plan?

The Board of Trustees is responsible for overseeing the general administration and overall governance of the Pension Plan. The Board of Trustees is comprised of the following individuals who are appointed representatives from the participating Employers and UNITE HERE Local 75:

  • Employer Trustees: Edwin Frizzell, Robert Housez, Natasha Melanson, Tim Reardon
  • Union Trustees: Valrie Lue, Shelli Sareen, Guled Warsame

Note: The Pension Plan, along with the government benefits such as, Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Old Age Security (OAS), your personal retirement savings, contribute to your financial security/income at retirement.
